WHAT DO I NEED BEFORE I CAN SECURE HOUSING
You do not need to register before you secure housing.
- You will need a valid credit card to guarantee your reservation. This card will not be charged an advance deposit at time of booking.
ADVANCE DEPOSITS AND CANCELLATION FEES
No one will be charged an advance payment when booking a reservation.
The credit card numbers will be sent to the hotel to guarantee those reservations at cutoff on February 24th.
IMPORTANT: While you are not charged a deposit at time of booking, there is a cancellation fee of one night’s room and tax that will be charged to the credit card on the reservation if the reservation is cancelled after January 12, 2026.
If you cancel on or before January 12, 2026, no cancellation fee will be charged.
You can name change the reservation and change credit card rather than cancel.
No exceptions will be made if you cancel and are charged the penalty.
IMPORTANT DATES
Individual Reservations:
Book your reservation by Monday February 23, 2026.
Limited hotel choices will be available after February 23rd, until March 2, 2026.
- January 12, 2026, is last day to cancel without cancellation penalty of one night’s room and tax.
Group Blocks of 10 or More Rooms
Name Due for all Group Blocks: Monday, January 12, 2026, all rooms must have names and a payment to guarantee reservation. If you need special handling, please arrange in advance to meet the deadline.
If you need attendees in your room block to give their own credit card to guarantee their reservation, there is a link at the bottom of your welcome letter. Please send out in advance as you must complete bookings by Monday, January 12, 2026
- Last Day to request room block: Monday, January 12, 2026. Groups will still be required to give names immediately as we are past names due.
Last Day to Cancel Rooms Without Penalty: Monday, January 12, 2026
Complete All Changes by February 23, 2026. This will ensure your rooms will be up to date when the hotel receives the rooming list. You can continue to make changes after this date.
Hotel 1st cutoff, hotel will access rooming lists on Tuesday, February 24, 2026. Continue to manage your block online to make changes and cancellations until Final Cutoff.
- Last Day to Make Changes with Housing: Monday, March 2, 2026.
Hotel Final Cutoff: Hotel accesses final rooming list Tuesday, March 3, 2026
Contact the Hotel Directly. Beginning on Tuesday, March 3, 2026, all changes and cancellations must be made directly with the hotel.

Your confirmation is automatically sent to the email address provided immediately after booking a reservation. If you don’t see it, please check your junk mail.

A dedicated website is now available for you to view your block and pickup, and reserve hotel rooms online. To access this information, please first accept your block by selecting the green “Accept Block Assignment” at the bottom of this email. This will also lead you to create your account. DO WE QUALIFY FOR A BLOCK OF ROOMS?
Minimum of 10 rooms are required to request room block.
For NSBE Jr. a minimum of 5 rooms to request a room block.
If you do not qualify you can book rooms as individuals. Do not request more rooms than you need.
WHAT IF MY SCHOOL DOESN'T HAVE A CREDIT CARD AND MUST PAY BY CHECK?
This option is only available for groups. Please request your rooms and email NSBE Housing if you have special payment needs and need to pay hotel directly with a check.
If you are an individual, you must enter a credit card to book a room, but you are not charged. Reach out to NSBE housing by email to have a credit card authorization sent to someone to pay for your reservation and/or incidentals. Please provide the email address to send it to. You are responsible for verifying with hotel it was received.
