NSBE Annual Convention Career Fair connects more than 300 companies, government agencies, and nonprofit organizations with thousands of highly qualified, motivated Black engineering students. The Career Fair also includes higher education institutions and other academic organizations, providing the ideal venue to recruit students for graduate and undergraduate engineering programs and presenting information about fellowship and/or research opportunities. With thousands of enthusiastic participants, this event provides the perfect opportunity for employers from various industries to meet with the best and the brightest prospective employees for engineering and other STEM-related fields. So whether you’re looking for interns, recent graduates, or experienced engineers, you’ll find them at the NSBE Career Fair.

When will partner registration open?
Partner registration will open on or around October 15, 2025.
Can partners and exhibitors attend convention events?
Yes. We encourage our partners and exhibitors to attend the Technical Professionals Conference at Annual Convention. Pro Tip: Some events require advance registration.
When will we receive registration instructions?
Partners and exhibitors will receive an email invitation to register their staff from out registration vendor. Registration instructions will be sent to the main point of contact or their designee. This email invitation will provide you with a link and instructions on how to register your complimentary staff, as well as how to purchase additional registrations. NSBE does not sell Career Fair only or One Day only passes.
What are the career fair hours?
Thursday March 19th and Friday March 20th from 12:00-5:00pm.
When can exhibitors load in/out?
This information will be included in the Exhibitor Kit.

February 24, 2026: 1st Cutoff for hotel will access rooming lists
March 3, 2026: Final cutoff for all hotels. After this date you will need to contact the hotel directly. There is no guarantee the hotel will still offer the conference rate.
Payment Deadlines
CANCELLATION/REFUND POLICY
Payment is due upon arrival. There is a fixed deposit of $5.
January 7, 2025, – January 28, 2026: Any reservations cancelled during this time will be subject to a $100 cancellation fee.
January 29, 2025, – February 8, 2026: Any reservations cancelled during this time will be subject to a $150 cancellation fee.
February 9, 2025, – February 25, 2026: Any reservations cancelled during this time will be subject to a $175 cancellation fee.
Reservations cancelled on or after February 25, 2026, are 100% non-refundable.
Exhibitor Move-In Questions
What are the payment policies?

All sponsor items and career fair booths sales can now be purchased through NSBE Impact Portable (https://sponsor.nsbe.org) via credit card.

For those unable to pay with a credit card, there is an invoice option. Please note that all invoice items must be paid within 45 days. After 45 days, your selection will be considered forfeited, and the unpaid item(s) will be returned back to inventory.

January 31, 2026, will be the cutoff date for the invoice option, and the NSBE Impact Portal will only accept credit card payment for self-checkout. No other form of payment will be honored after this date (with the exception of forms mailed in along with a check with prior approval)

A 25% cancellation fee for any sponsorship cancellations after January 16, 2026. This includes paid sponsorship and sponsorships with pending invoices.

There will be no refunds after January 31, 2026

ANY unsatisfied outstanding invoice(s) with NSBE will prohibit entrance to the career fair and/or college fair/graduate school floor(s).

Where can I find additional information regarding booths, shipping, etc.?
Deadline for discount ordering online from Freeman services. Freeman is NSBE’s exhibitor services team and will assist all exhibitors with shipping, booth setup and more. If you need assistance from Freeman Exhibitor support, please call (888) 508-5054.

COVID-19 Event Protocol
The National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) is committed to the health and safety of meeting and event attendees. NSBE leadership will continue to monitor the situation and provide guidance as more information on the extent and severity of the outbreak becomes available. NSBE will adjust its approach as needed to ensure a coordinated effort and a safe experience for conference attendees.
It is recommended that all attendees must be fully vaccinated in accordance with the CDC guidelines. Boosters are strongly recommended but are not required. Facial coverings are strongly recommended to be worn throughout the EVENT NAME. In the event an attendee tests positive post event, we strongly recommend alerting NSBE’s Human Resources Department to make other attendees aware that may have come in close contact. In the event any attendee tests positive for COVID-19, the CDC does currently mandate a required five (5) day quarantine period.
